Fire fighters battle factory fire in Turella

NSW Fire & Rescue responded to 000 calls that a building was on fire in Turrella St, Turrella.

On arrival a large factory was found to be well alight. A 3rd alarm structure fire was declared and crews from around south east and inner west Sydney responded.

In the early stages of the blaze, the front wall of the structure collapsed. Further structural collapses were expected.

Two women injured after Ferrari hits pedestrians in Lidcombe

Two women have been treated on scene and transported to hospital after an accident in The Boulevard at Lidcombe.

At around 9pm a man driving a black Ferrari crashed into a parked Toyota Vienta.

The vehicle continued to skid after hitting the red sedan before crashing into a brick wall.

Rescue & Emergency services responded to the intersection of Lakemba St and Burwood Rd in Belmore early this afternoon after a serious vehicle collision.

One driver from each vehicle had to be cut free from the wreckage due to their injuries.

A third man, suffering suspected neck injuries was able to free himself from a red Honda.
