Many visitors spend thousands by signing up for “Storm Chasing Tours” that last a week or two, whilst others are visiting from another state or another country in their own vehicle. Amongst them is Daniel Shaw, the editor of FreeNews Australia.
2011 has been an extremely active season for Tornado producing storms, with hundreds killed and small cities obliterated.

A female has been rescued from the top of a building after reports that she had fallen from a balcony. NSW Police Rescue, Paramedics & NSW Fire & Rescue responded to the call for help at around 5.45am Emergency services accessed the roof with a ladder and a “Ladder Platform” appliance which was setup in the middle of Victoria St, Darlinghurst.

 READ MORE TO VIEW GALLERIES Emergency services, the Salvation Army, National Guard, Red Cross and other volunteers have worked tirelessly to restore peace to a broken town.
On Saturday, April 24th, Yazoo City was hit by a major storm system which started in Louisiana and spread across the entire state of Mississippi. Around forty electrical restoration crews have begun to restore and repair the power lines that were shredded, whilst gas contractors are remarking connection points to hook up services back to the homes. |

The city of Joplin, Missouri was hit by a large tornado causing devastating and widespread damage.
Emergency services in their hundreds are responding to the scene to search for survivors.
The damage path is estimated at around one mile, spreading across the entire metropolitan area.

NSW Fire & Rescue responded to 000 calls that a building was on fire in Turrella St, Turrella. On arrival a large factory was found to be well alight. A 3rd alarm structure fire was declared and crews from around south east and inner west Sydney responded. In the early stages of the blaze, the front wall of the structure collapsed. Further structural collapses were expected.
