Hundreds flocked to the Optus store in Sydney’s CBD with some waiting for over twelve hours to buy the new Apple IPhone 3Gs

This is yet another “must have” piece of technology that gen Z’s to the Baby Boomers will be sure to buy. At the stroke of midnight the ribbon was cut and a steady but controlled stream of tech buffs were given the opportunity to buy their new toy.

There was no sight of a credit crisis here, as many signed on the dotted line to commit to a two year contract. The Apple store in George St will open its doors at 8.00am to sell the device, however Optus decided to sell the phone the moment they were allowed.

It is a phone.
It has ground breaking features like a 3mp camera, mms and bluetooth.
It cannot make a video call.
