No residents were inside the unit at the time and other residents escaped without injury. It's believed a number of aerosol cans exploded in the kitchen area. Only a minor amount of structural damage occurred, however an entire glass door was destroyed. The Police rescue bomb disposal squad along with fire crews investigated the scene and rendered it safe.
