At around 6.10pm, multiple ambulances and other emergency services rushed to the scene of a two car accident in Regent St, Chippendale. The Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit has spent most of this evening examining the scene of the accident. It’s understood that two vehicles collided, sending one onto the footpath and into three pedestrians. One pedestrian suffered serious head injuries, whilst the other two sustained minor injuries. The driver was treated for shock and all were transported to hospital for treatment. A Police motorcycle escorted the Ambulance carrying the serious patient to St Vincent’s Hospital. Police would like to speak to any witnesses; they can be contacted on 1800-333-000.
