Car reverses out of control at Kingsford markets in freak accident.

At around 3:50pm on the 31st July emergency services responded to the local markets in Anzac Parade in Kingsford.

Reports were received that a vehicle had reversed out of control into a number of market stalls knocking down structures and bystanders.

The car continued to drive around in circles until it came to a stop within one of the stalls.

An elderly female was in the car at the time of the accident.

Multiple ambulance paramedics were called to the scene as the casualties started to climb.

Four people were assessed for injuries with three people being transported to hospital.

The vehicle has been taken by police for forensic examination.

Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
