![]() READ MORE TO VIEW VIDEO Police are seeking witnesses to a serious accident in the south west Sydney suburb of Peakhurst. At around midnight, emergency services were called to Stoney Creek Road after reports were received that a vehicle crashed into the front yard of a house. Police were told that a white Toyota station wagon was travelling east along Stoney Creek Road when it allegedly crossed to the wrong side of the road about 40 metres west of Shepherd Street. The car allegedly clipped a grey Toyota sedan travelling the opposite direction, causing it to spin 180 degrees. The station wagon then skidded 90m. It rolled several times, tearing down 4m-high power lines. The station wagon then rolled through the front yard of a residence on Stoney Creek Road before coming to a rest against the wall of the neighbouring property. The 17-year-old male driver of the station wagon was taken to St George Hospital suffering minor injuries. Residents spoke to FreeNews about what they heard, and how they helped the young male. The male was lucky to escape serious injury. Anyone who witnessed the crash should contact Hurstville detectives or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
