NSW Fire & Rescue crews worked throughout the night to control a factory fire in Milperra.

At around 3.30am fire services received reports of smoke emanating from a warehouse on Milperra Rd, Milperra.

The factory stores car parts & packaging material.

Fire crews forced entry into the premises using power saws. The bulk of the fire load was found in packaging material.

A single lane of Milperra Rd was closed and Edgar St was closed completely to assist with water hose runs.

The cause of the fire is under investigation and a crew will remain onsite to prevent further re-ignitions.
