![]() READ MORE TO VIEW GALLERY & VIDEO NSW Fire & Rescue responded to 000 calls that a building was on fire in Turrella St, Turrella. On arrival a large factory was found to be well alight. A 3rd alarm structure fire was declared and crews from around south east and inner west Sydney responded. In the early stages of the blaze, the front wall of the structure collapsed. Further structural collapses were expected. Power saws were used to cut through fencing, doors and window grilles. A ladder platform fire appliance was utilised for an aerial attack on the flames. Smoke billowed across the suburb and affected the nearby train service. Fire crews are expected to remain on scene for at least another day. Once safe access can be obtained, fire investigation can begin.

been in turrella street for over 21 years. pay your rates to the council on time. residents are angurd over the fact that the building has not yet been cleared from these hazourdus substances that we are breathing for the last 48 hours. houses have not been cleaned.residents where advised its safe to return to homes. what about the kids in the neighbourhood the animals the people.we got to smell this until the council and the insurance companies sort them selves.really unfair. channel 7 and 9 have been contacted as further action will b taken against the way that the residence have been treated. we live in australia and pay taxes.this is not a war zone.but by dear god it seems like 1.
