![]() READ MORE TO VIEW GALLERY & VIDEO NSW Fire & Rescue responded to numerous triple zero calls to reports of a kitchen fire in Anzac Parade this morning. At around 10.50am residents and restaurant staff were forced to evacuate their building after a commercial kitchen was engulfed in flames and had spread to the internal ducting. The first arriving fire service declared a 2nd alarm structure fire and numerous backup crews were dispatched. Crews quickly brought the blaze under control and managed to stop the flames from spreading. During the operation the ceiling of the restaurant collapsed on a fire fighter. He was treated on scene before being transported to hospital with a suspected broken arm.
